1100-1 Paint Lake Road
Greetings from Paint Lake! We hope everyone survived the heat wave. Wasn’t last week a Scorcher?????
I am writing to you today as a reminder of our upcoming Summerfest Picnic Extravaganza!! Our Theme this year is “The Royal Summerfest”
Every year we try to bring you a fun filled family day. We hope this year will be even more exciting! Please mark Aug. 5th in your Calendar. Starts at 12:00 noon, Lunch begins at 12:30.
We are of-course including all the favorites, Lunch, Hide and Seek, Egg Race, Silent Auction, Bubble Stop, Selfie Stop, Tug of War, Piñatas and much, much more!
This year the Emphasis will be placed on The Kids Cash and Carry Tables. Please consider donating an item worth at least $1. We will have a $1 Table as well as a $5.00 Table …..designated solely for children ?.
We have decided not to canvass business’s this year for our Silent Auction due to the amount of Volunteer hours this requires and hope that instead you will consider donating a Brand New item of at least $50. We are hoping some of our very skilled and/or Artistic Paint Lakers could donate their own service or skill for our more Adult Summerfest Attendee. We are hoping you will consider a donation of some kind in the place of a dessert…..
All donations can be dropped off to myself, 1038 Inawendawin, or txt/call 416-219-3808 or Betty Swain at 1010 Kenny Road, 705-766-1268.
NOW, for some really exciting news……
This year, for something new……we will try a Community type GARAGE SALE!!!
Come out and bring your things. You will have the opportunity to display and sell your items at this years Summerfest!!! Bring along a Blanket or Table , arrive by 11am.
You will be expected to Set Up, Sell and Remove any Item which does not sell yourself ( so only bring items you can carry yourself) .There is absolutely no cost to you. Here is your chance to get rid of some unwanted but valuable stuff! Garage Sale will end at 3:00 pm in order that the final Clean up can be done with the Seymour’s in mind.
Lastly, as usual…..we are always in need of Volunteers. Please, please consider helping out. This year we have several vacancies which need to be filled…..

Last but not least, I want to Thank everyone for their Support and dedication to this event including Carolyn and Fred Seymour who are not only friends but like minded individuals that see the that It takes a Village, and a Community to keep this Event going every year.

This will be my last year as Social Director and I invite all of you to consider organizing this event.
